Women’s Work Attire Drive with JLP March 1 through March 14

We are partnering with the Junior League of Pelham to organize a drive for gently used work attire to donate to Career Closet, a Westchester County organization that supports women entering the workforce with professional attire. A box will be located at the Library by the Carol Place entrance where you can leave your donations starting March 1.

CLOTHING DONATION GUIDELINES
Our clothing needs to reflect a focus on the initial job interview when our clients have an opportunity to make a great first impression. In general, your items must be:
Clean – no spots, stains, collar rings, pet hair, odor of cigarette smoke
Good condition – no tears, missing buttons, mold
Professional – no denim, cutouts, spaghetti straps
Current – no outdated styles

Accessories – Scarves, Jewelry, Handbags

100% Silk
Evening or cocktail dresses

Activewear, Athletic & Workout Clothes
Undergarments, Lingerie, Sleepwear
Open Toe Shoes
