Library Launches Second Grade Book Club; Next Selection: “We’re All Wonders” on June 14

Following on the heels of the new third grade book club, the Library is now also offering a second grade book club, which will meet for an hour once per month.

Led by Pelham parent Liselle Sakrhani, the club is for any second grade child who would likes to read, meet new friends and have fun discussing a good book with others.

The next meeting of the Club is on Thursday, June 14 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., when the Club will discuss the book We’re All Wonders. Written by R.J. Palacio, the book is a follow-on to her bestseller, Wonder.

Geared towards younger readers, We’re All Wonders is more of a picture book, featuring Wonder‘s main character, Auggie, and Daisy, Auggie’s dog, on an original adventure. To be a part of the club, registration is required by calling the Library at (914) 738-1234.
