Celebrate Pelican Pride with a Live Ice Sculpting Performance, Saturday February 12, 11 am to 1 pm

Come see Pelham’s mascot being carved out of ice! To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Pelham Memorial High School building, the Library will be hosting a live ice sculpting performance on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm. Artisans from Okamoto Custom Ice Studio will carve a 4-foot-tall pelican ice sculpture on the front lawn of the Library. This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor’s office and the New York State Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.
