Meet Animals, Play Legos or Watch a Movie During “Mud Week” at the Library!

Come in from the cold during the February winter “Mud Week” vacation and play Legos, meet some animals or watch a movie! Below are details on the Library’s afternoon activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, February 16, 17 and 19. (The Library will be closed on Monday, February 15 in observance of the Presidents Day holiday.) Enjoy the week off!

  • Games and Legos at the LibraryTuesday, February 16, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
    Come to the Library for a relaxing afternoon of games, including chess, UNO and, of course, Legos!
  • Free Screening of Inside OutWednesday, February 17, 2:30 p.m.
    The Library is hosting a free screening of the critically-acclaimed animated Disney movie Inside Out. The 2015 movie is told by the little voices — Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness — inside the head of Riley, an 11-year-old girl who is moving from the Midwest to San Francisco.
  • Meet the Animals of Green Meadows Farm, Friday, February 19, 2 – 3 p.m.
    Jason from Greens Meadows Farm will bring a variety of creatures to the Library during this “Mud Week” program, including hissing cockroaches, reptiles, a hedgehog, parakeets and a chicken. For ages 4 and up. Registration is required by calling the Library at (914) 738-1234.
