Meet Our New Librarians!

The Town of Pelham Public Library is pleased to announce the hiring of two new librarians: Colette Storti-Roberts as adult services librarian, and Kathy Palovich as youth services librarian.

Colette Storti-Roberts (pictured on the right) grew up in Westchester and got her BA in Literature from Purchase College. “I’ve wanted to be a librarian for most of my life,” she says. “I love books and I love helping people, so it always seemed like a dream job.” In 2019, she got her Masters in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University and worked part-time at the Warner Library serving Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. Colette will be working on programs and collection development for adults.

Kathy Palovick comes to us from the Mamaroneck Public Library, where she worked as the Children’s Librarian. Kathy graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.Ed. and a school library media specialist certification. Kathy has also worked at libraries in Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and Mount Pleasant. Kathy will be working on youth services, with a focus on tweens and teens.

Please come by and meet Colette and Kathy!
