Caregivers, Soon-to-Be-Retirees and Seniors Are Invited to “Demystifying Medicare and Senior Heathcare,” on October 22
Are you the caregiver of an elderly parent, relative or friend? On the verge of retirement? Or a senior trying to figure out how to navigate the complicated healthcare landscape?
Then come to this special presentation on Thursday, October 22, 6:30 – 9 p.m. to better understand how to manage seniors’ medical care. In addition to Medicare, it will cover Medicare Advantage Plans, Part D prescription drug plans, Medigap insurance and various cost-saving programs and is geared toward anyone looking to navigate the complicated healthcare system for older adults. Registration is requested.
This presentation is coming to the Library under the Westchester Library System’s Westchester Seniors Out Speaking program, which is a county volunteer group devoted to delivering free services to help people achieve a better understanding of Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage. Volunteers are also regularly briefed on related senior-directed services.
