Play Adult Reading BINGO and Win a Kindle Paperwhite!
Reading contests for children have been a staple of the Library’s summer reading program for years. But why let kids have all the fun? Adults and teens in 9th Grade and up can play our Reading BINGO game for adults and be registered for a raffle to win a Kindle Paperwhite! Here’s how it works: Stop by the reference desk to pick up a BINGO card, or you can download one along with instructions here. Write down the book titles you have read this summer between July 1st and October 15th that meet the definitions in the appropriate boxes to try to get a BINGO making a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. You may not put the same book more than one box. Once you have completed your BINGO, bring the card to the Reference Desk where you will be asked to discuss the books you read. The deadline to turn in the card is Friday, October 15th in order to be entered into the raffle. One entry person. Questions? Call Augusta Turner at 914-738-1234.
