Outside Story Time

Join us for our popular story time for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! In case of rain or temperatures above 90°, the event will be cancelled. Please call the Library or check our website that morning.

Tibet Sound Healing Workshop with Karin Reetz on Zoom

Join us for this online program presented by Karin Reetz, who will be using Himalayan singing bowls to create healing vibrations. For this class you will be sitting and laying down. Dress warmly and have a blanket on hand. This program is being offered in partnership with the Town of Pelham Library and Tuckahoe Public Library. Ida Lupino: From Reluctant Actress to Pioneering Director

Ida Lupino was the most prominent female filmmaker working in the 1950s during the Hollywood studio system. With her independent production company, she co-wrote and co-produced several social message films and became the first woman to direct a film noir, The Hitchhiker, in 1953.
