Outside Story Time

Join us for our popular Story Time for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Story Time will be held outdoors throughout the year, but will be cancelled on days when the temperature is below 40 degrees at 9 a.m., or if it is raining. Cancellations will be posted on our website at the top of our homepage. You may also call the Library when we open at 10 a.m. to inquire.

Our machine sewing classes with Solange Bitol Hansen have been super popular! Join us for a sewing class just for kids 6-8! This class is capped at 6 people, but a waitlist will be kept. Because of high demand, we ask that if you register and cannot attend, that you cancel with 48 hours notice. If you do not give a MINIMUM of 48-hour notice of a cancellation, you will not be able to re-register for another session. If you are interested, please email Tasha at ngross@wlsmail.org. You MUST include your/your child’s name and age, and your phone number. You will receive a confirmation. Register soon, as space and supplies are limited!

Join us for a sewing class just for kids ages 5-6 and their adult! This class is specifically for children ages 5-6 plus ONE adult, and the full attention and participation of the adult attending is expected. This class is capped at 4 sets of kids/adults, but a waitlist will be kept. Because of high demand, we ask that if you register and cannot attend, that you cancel with 48 hours notice. If you do not give a MINIMUM of 48-hour notice of a cancellation, you will not be able to re-register for another session. If you are interested, please email Tasha at ngross@wlsmail.org. You MUST include: your child’s name and age, and the name and phone number of the adult who will be attending and participating with your child. You will receive a confirmation.
