Outside Story Time

Join us for our popular Story Time for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Story Time will be held outdoors throughout the year, but will be cancelled on days when the temperature is below 40 degrees at 9 a.m., or if it is raining. Cancellations will be posted on our website at the top of our homepage. You may also call the Library when we open at 10 a.m. to inquire.
Kids Craft: Hand-Stitch a Gingerbread Doll!-FULL

THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY FULL. WE ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER MORE PARTICIPANTS.
Join us to learn some basic hand-sewing techniques, and walk away with your own gingerbread doll! This program is for kids ages 8 and up.
This class is capped at 6 people, but a waitlist will be kept. Because of high demand, we ask that if you register and cannot attend, that you cancel with 48 hours notice.

Enjoy the healing power of Tibetan Sound Healing with instructor Roberta Brown Brugo. Roberta Brown, BSN, RN, LMT, CYT, CHTP/I, has been dedicated and passionate about holistic nursing and integrative therapies for over forty years. She has served as the Integrative Medicine and Healing Touch nurse coordinator at Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich, CT, for the past 15 years. Roberta is certified in relaxation modalities such as Healing Touch, sound healing, yoga and Azul conscious movement, as well as, being a licensed massage therapist. She creates and facilitates self-care serenity spaces and presents healthy lifestyle and mindfulness webinars to the community. Roberta maintains a holistic practice offering deep relaxation and healing therapies. This program is offered in partnership with the Harrison and Tuckahoe Public Libraries.
