Mardi Gras Mask Making

Come and make your very own Mardi Gras mask. Our community craft table will have all the materials to make a colorful sparkly mask, perfect for Mardi Gras! All ages are welcome to participate.
This craft will be available from Tuesday, February 21 through Saturday, February 25.
Mardi Gras Quiz

Get ready for Mardi Gras by stopping by the Library during the week of February 21-25 to complete our Mardi Gras quiz. Everyone who completes the quiz (or tries to) wins a beaded necklace to wear to celebrate. Quizzes are available at the front circulation desk.
Outside Story Time

Join us for our popular Story Time for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story Time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Story Time will be held outdoors throughout the year, but will be cancelled on days when the temperature is extreme, or if it is raining. Cancellations will be posted on our website at the top of our homepage. You may also call the Library when we open at 10 a.m. to inquire.
Kids Crafts: Glass Jar Aquariums

Bring the ocean home with you. Make an aquarium out of a glass jar, that we provide. No cleaning or feeding the fish required. Registration is not required; first come, first served. This program is geared towards children ages four and up.
SOLD OUT: Stuffed Animal Sleepover Story Time

Bring your favorite stuffed animal for a fun craft and bedtime story! Then, leave them for their overnight sleepover. When you pick them up on Thursday morning, you’ll get to hear all about what your stuffed animal friends got up to at the Library! This program is for children ages four and up. Registration is required. To register email our librarian Kathy at kpalovick@wlsmail.org. After a night of fun, you’ll be able to pick up your furry friends on Thursday February 23rd during our normal library hours (10 am-8 pm).
