Chinese-English Story Time

你好 (Ni Hao! – or “Hello” in Chinese.)

The Library’s Chinese-English version of Story Time, organized by bilingual Pelham parents and their young kids, continues this fall. The program, which is held every other Saturday in the Library’s Activity Room, introduces children to colors and numbers in Chinese, along with Chinese fairy tales and well-known stories, including The Five Chinese Brothers,Tikki-Tikki-Tembo and a Chinese version of Dr. Seuss’ One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. There are also interesting language and cultural activities. All families with children through third grade are welcome. Signup is not required.
