Monday Afternoon Movies: A League of Their Own

This summer, the Library will feature free family movies with a sports theme every Monday afternoon. This week’s movie, A League of Their Own, follows the travails of the Rockford Peaches, a team of female baseball players in a professional women’s league during World War II. The team includes Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna, and Tom Hanks as their manager.
