Welcome Paul Tapogna to the Library Board

Paul A. Tapogna is a licensed New York State architect who has practiced locally for more than
20 years. He is currently the Executive Director of Design and Construction for the Wildlife
Conservation Society (WCS) headquartered at the Bronx Zoo. Paul led the team that created
the latest exhibit building at the New York Aquarium known as Ocean Wonders: Shark!, which
opened to the public in 2018. Prior to joining WCS, he worked for a number of Manhattan-
based architecture firms and worked on a variety of projects for not-for-profit clients in the tri-
state area.

Paul has lived in Pelham for the past 24 years with his wife and two children. He is excited to
join the Library Board in order to lend his architectural and planning experience to help chart a
course for future Library improvements.
